S.O.A.R.

"But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles." (Isaiah 40:31 NLT)

You were made to S.O.A.R. (Strength to Overcome All Resistance). Years ago, during a great season of trepidation and hesitation to step out by faith into something God was calling me to, a great mentor encouraged me by saying, “Tony, put your flight gear on.” Wow! That greatly empowered me to take that leap of faith which has resulted in the ministry I am in today. You were created to ascend. So, mount up like the eagle you are and prepare for flight. Don’t worry about the wind that is contrary to you right now. In fact, welcome it. Planes fly head-on into adverse winds in order to elevate. The wind that is blowing against you is the perfect condition for flight. Air balloons can only rise higher as they drop their sandbags. Don’t let doubt, fear, unbelief and insecurity sandbag you. Lay aside every weight of anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, and disappointment, and let go of present sins that are pinning you down (Hebrews 12:1). In order for the cockpit of a rocket to probe further into deep space, it must break off from the lower parts of the rocket. What are the lower-parts in your life? Are they humans (relationships), hobbies (activities), or habits (practices), In order to breakthrough you must break off from lower level thinking and living. Your attitude determines your altitude. So prepare to leave ground level perspective. Set your sights on things above and soar (Colossians 3:2).
